Katie Clarke is a creative maker, thinker, and caretaker, currently involved with the organisation of two arts platforms: ARIAS, and Zone2Source. Her role is in the presentation, communication, and coordination of those spaces. Her interest lies in multi-vocal practices with artists and their audiences, in a search for different ways of knowing and sensing.

Katie graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2018 with a Master of Arts in New Media and Digital Culture, and in 2016 from University of the Arts London: London College of Communication with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising. Her research interest during this time grappled with the urgent questions around the publicness of the internet and digital choreography, whilst using the internet as a site for research about art and culture.

From this research she initiated five public events, 2 in London and 3 in Amsterdam. She spoke at a national conference in London about how algorithms are nothing to fear, and premier as a director for a short film at LCC. In Amsterdam she manifested an event series named: Platform Imaginaries, a series of arts and digital cultures happenings held at Spui25 designed to empower artists, researchers and designers to formulate new playful imaginaries for art and design within the city.
